Celebrating 25 Years of Making Empty Houses Homes
The Houston Furniture Bank held a celebration event to commemorate a special milestone: 25 years of providing area families and individuals with essential furniture basics and Making Empty Houses Homes. Congressman Gene Green, Council Member Robert Gallegos, and radio personality Rod Ryan joined Houston Furniture Bank staff, volunteers, sponsors, supporters, and friends to mark this occasion. The event included presentation of awards to notable supporters, a silent auction, live entertainment, and tours of the facility.
