Furniture Bank Advantages:

- Standard pickups are typically scheduled 1 to 2 weeks in advance, so book early!
- Charitable contribution tax receipts for donation pickups are provided.
Priority Furniture Bank Pickup
Priority Pickup Advantages:
- Priority pick-up based on calendar availability. Items can be picked up within 48 hours of scheduling an appointment.
- We will pick up from any floor and provide disassembly.
- Items of ANY condition accepted
- Schedule a Priority Pickup today. Pick-up fees apply.
- All estimates are provided upfront before the pick-up is scheduled. Fees are not tax-deductible, but items removed and accepted by The Furniture Bank locations are.

Exceptions
Please note that (with some exceptions) The Furniture Bank cannot accept: clothing, gardening tools, broken items, armoires, tv cabinets, or office furniture.
Notice
Furniture donated to The Furniture Bank should be in a gently-used condition that can be given away to a family in need without repairs.

Home Pickup Fee
Please note that The Furniture Bank requests a $65 donation (per visit) to pick up your donated furniture at your home or place of business. This helps us cover the cost of our trucks and delivery drivers.
Mattress Recycling Fee
The Furniture Bank is the best place to donate your mattress. Mattresses that are in great condition will be sanitized and given away to families in need. All others will be recycled. We ask for a donation of $65/piece to pick up your mattress and $25/piece to drop it off. This helps us cover our costs. In 2024, we recycled over 30,000 mattresses, thanks to people like you!
Nonprofit Organization
Please note that Houston Furniture Bank is a nonprofit organization with limited staff. We answer all requests for pickups as quickly as we can. Ideally, reach out to us two weeks before your target pickup date so that we may best accommodate your request.
