Full Job Description
The Furniture Bank is a non-profit organization that helps families in need with essential furniture. We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver who will represent our charity courteously, respectfully, and professionally.
The right candidate will stay aligned with our mission while focusing on customer satisfaction and transporting items safely and on time. The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off items while following assigned routes and schedules, making sure items are complete, properly packed, and safely delivered to the correct client.
To succeed as a Delivery Driver, you should be polite, prompt, safety focused, and committed to providing clients with an excellent experience.
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or customers safely and on time.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure they are complete and signed by the sender and receiver.
- Capture signatures for all clients delivered to or picked up from.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from all trucks.
- Accept payments for picked-up items.
- Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
- Follow all transportation laws.
- Ensure all paperwork and payments are turned in to the dispatch office at the end of each day.
- Maintain truck cleanliness inside and out.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections.
- Maintain professional relationships with agencies, donors, volunteers, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- At least 2 years of experience driving a box truck.
- Good customer service skills when working with partner agencies and delivery sites.
- Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow assigned routes, schedules, policies, procedures, transportation laws, and requests from the Logistics Manager.
- Ability to communicate effectively, appropriately, and in a timely manner with logistics staff.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, practices, procedures, and standards.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
- Ability to work in extreme weather temperatures, including cold or hot conditions.
- Ability to work on your feet for most of the day.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
- Clean and good driving record required.
- No moving violations in the last 5 years.
- Forklift certification preferred.

Full Job Description
We seek a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will drive sales growth within your assigned territory by building strong relationships with clients and identifying their needs. You will leverage your expertise in territory management and direct sales to effectively promote our products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the market and competitive landscape within your territory.
- Identify potential clients through cold calling and networking efforts, and establish new business opportunities.
- Conduct technical sales presentations to demonstrate product features and benefits, addressing client inquiries effectively.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities with existing customers.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-ups and excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on product offerings and support client needs effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using relevant software tools.
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities to inform strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or direct sales roles, with a strong track record in territory management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- Familiarity with technical sales processes and the ability to understand complex product specifications.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on meeting client needs.
- Proficient in using software tools for tracking sales activities and managing customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to adapt to changing market conditions.
