The success of Houston Furniture Bank (HFB)’s programs and services are made possible in large part through the efforts of countless volunteers, supporters, donors, and partners. From donating essential furniture to repurposing home goods to turn empty rooms into something cozy & comfortable, they make it possible for HFB to help thousands of individuals and families transitioning to independent living.
Houston Furniture Bank D.I.V.A.S. (Designing Interiors-Volunteers at your Service) volunteers & leadership recently gathered to honor Ann Shaw as she passed on her role as Co-Leader to Michelle King. Ann served as a Co-Leader in the volunteer group for more than 5 years, generously sharing her time, her creativity and her kindness to help in Making Empty Houses Homes. She will continue to support D.I.V.A.S. projects as a volunteer.
