Furniture Donation
If you have furniture in good condition that you want to donate, you can stop by either of HFB’s Furniture Outlets to drop it off! Houston Furniture Bank takes most types of furniture, as long as it is in a state that will improve the life of a struggling family. From beds to tables, dressers to end tables, even couches to rugs, we will take whatever kind souls like yourself will offer!
We cannot take items that are missing parts, that are torn or scratched, that may be covered in pet dander or fur, or that are significantly damaged in any other way. If you need help identifying whether your furniture can be safely donated or not, give us a call and we can help you make that determination!
Please note that there is a $20 fee per item to recycle mattresses; if you haven’t heard of it yet, our Mattress Recycling program is absolutely brilliant. It is improving the lives of thousands of people throughout the community, from the second-chance workers it provides jobs to and those the recycled mattresses will one day help!
