Why We Need Friends
The Furniture Bank believes everyone deserves a safe, comfortable place to live, and that starts with a bed, a table, a chair, a home.
We provide essential furniture to families emerging from homelessness, domestic violence, and extreme poverty. With your support, we serve more than 1,500 families each year. But there’s still so much work to do.
- No Kids on the Floor Initiative – Providing beds for children in need
- Furniture Assistance & DIVAS Program – Helping survivors furnish their homes
- Mattress Recycling – Diverting tons of waste from landfills each year
- Second Chance Program – Empowering individuals through employment after incarceration
- Outlet Centers – Providing affordable furniture access to the public
