Moving Furniture To Families In Need
In 2023, The Furniture Bank supported more than 1,276 families through the Furniture Assistance Program, distributing over 11,900 pieces of essential furniture and positively impacting more than 2,290 children.
We work alongside more than 100 charitable organizations. These Furniture Distribution Partners schedule client visits to our Distribution Center at 8220 Mosley Rd., where families facing poverty, health challenges, domestic violence, and disasters receive the support they need to rebuild stability.
Our team specializes in sourcing, managing, and staging gently used furniture from both industry partners and private donors. Every day, our trucks deliver furniture to families and collect new donations, ensuring that empty houses become comfortable, functional homes.
Our Furniture Distribution Program
The Furniture Bank has the privilege of working with over 45 charitable organizations who are our Furniture Distribution Partners. Partners make appointments for their clients to visit the Furniture Distribution Center located at 8220 Mosley Rd. Houston Furniture Bank serves families and individuals affected by poverty, health concerns, domestic violence, and disasters. For the families we serve, Furniture Assistance is an important step toward stability.
The Furniture Bank has expertise in filling our Distribution Center with gently used, essential furniture. We broker, manage, and stage donations from both the home goods industry and private citizens. Our trucks travel the city daily, delivering furniture to families who have selected items from our Distribution Center and picking up fresh donations.
Furniture Distribution Partners
The Furniture Bank provides Furniture Assistance through our Furniture Distribution Partners who contribute yearly dues and purchase vouchers for use in the Furniture Distribution Center. Furniture Distribution Partners help connect The Furniture Bank to the families we serve. The Furniture Bank is accepting new Furniture Distribution Partners on a case-by-case basis. Charitable Furniture Purchase Program
The Charitable Furniture Purchase Program (CFPP) lets eligible 501(c)(3) organizations and disaster-recovery teams purchase curated furniture at reduced, mission-aligned pricing.
When donated inventory or crisis needs outpace supply, the program streamlines ordering and delivery so households still receive beds, tables, seating, and other essentials.
Vendor discounts are passed through, helping partners secure durable items affordably while sustaining services year-round.
