Join Houston Furniture Bank for a Warehouse Blowout Sale this Saturday! Our mission is Making Empty Houses Homes. In 2019, Houston Furniture Bank provided Furniture Assistance to over 2,000 families in our community, helping those affected by poverty, disaster, health concerns, homelessness and domestic violence. We provide essential furniture to families that are in transition to stability.
One of Houston Furniture Bank’s most important sources of funding for running our operations is our Furniture Outlet. In 2019, sales in the Furniture Outled funded 27% of our operating budget!
The Furniture Outlet at Houston Furniture Bank has amazing deals every day, offering primarily new and some gently-used, quality items at less than 40% of their retail value. Houston Furniture Bank depends on donations of furniture from the public and from businesses in our community in order to provide Furniture Assistance to families in need. Not all donated items are what our families are looking for and limited warehouse space can be a logistical challenge as donations increase and decrease unpredictably over time. The Furniture Outlet helps turn your donations into meaningful support of our mission and allows Houston Furniture Bank a great deal of flexibility in managing logistical challenges.
This Saturday, we will be liquidating individual items like art, decorative tables, and chairs, single chairs as well as a lot of fun, miscellaneous items. Here are just some of the prices for items marked for liquidation on Saturday….
