A Place To Dream: Art Show & Auction

Hey, art enthusiasts and creative souls! We at The Furniture Bank are excited to partner with Star Furniture for our upcoming event, “A Place To Dream: Art Show & Auction.” This event directly supports our ongoing mission to help provide essential furniture to families in need.

If you’ve ever dreamed of showcasing your artistic talents while making a tangible difference, now is your opportunity! We’re inviting talented artists just like you to transform furniture pieces generously donated by Star Furniture into unique, meaningful works of art.

How It Works:

• Kickoff Event: Join us at the Star Furniture Warehouse on March 28, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM, where you’ll select your furniture canvas and begin your creative journey.
• Create: Complete your masterpiece by May 1, 2025, and return it to Star Furniture.
• Showcase: Your artwork will be displayed prominently at a Star Furniture showroom throughout May, spotlighting your talent and spreading awareness about the valuable work we do here at The Furniture Bank.
• Auction: In June, your artistic furniture creations will be auctioned, with proceeds going directly toward the production of our Furniture Bank Documentary—helping amplify our mission and impact within the community.

Why Participate?

Not only will your creativity reach a wider audience, but you’ll also be making a profound impact. By donating 75% to 100% of your auction proceeds, you’re directly enabling us at The Furniture Bank to continue our critical work of providing comfortable, dignified living spaces for those in need.
